Dr. Amy Lee has over 15 years of experience teaching in higher education. She has a doctorate degree in curriculum design and instruction and has a passion for strategically designing collaborative programs that meet the needs of Michigan’s workforce. Dr. Lee has led the EPiC Consortium, formally known as MiRIS, since its launch in 2011. As President of MWTEC, through the partnerships and support of Michigan Community Colleges, State leaders, and other Workforce stakeholders, Dr. Lee will continue to support the autonomy that Michigan institutions hold dear, while forging collaboration across the State of Michigan to ensure all areas of the state have access to high quality education and training.

Amanda Morgan, BS, RT(R)(MR)

Amanda joined the EPiC Consortium team in June of 2019 as Clinical Coordinator for the Consortium MRI and CT Programs. She holds a B.S. in Radiologic Technology with a minor in Healthcare Management from Siena Heights University and is currently attending Siena Heights Graduate College for her master's degree in Higher Education Leadership. Amanda acts as an advisor and mentor to students within the MRI and CT Programs, and as a liaison between the students and clinical instructors at participating clinical sites across the state of Michigan. In addition to being Clinical Coordinator, she is the Program Director for the EPiC Consortium Radiography program. Before joining the EPiC Consortium she was a Clinical Instructor and MRI Technologist. She has a combined 19 years of clinical experience in both Radiography and MRI.

Michelle Heath brings over 7 years of experience as an MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and CT technologist to her role as Clinical Coordinator for the MRI program with the EPiC Consortium in 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Ferris State University and an Associate’s in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from Grand Rapids Community College. Michelle has a background in mentoring students and excels in bridging classroom concepts with hands-on clinical training. Her expertise ensures high-quality education and effective liaison between MRI students and clinical instructors across Michigan, driven by her passion for imaging education and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Liz Fluty

Liz Fluty, MSN, RN brings over three decades of experience in clinical nursing and nursing education to her present role as the director of collaborative programs at MWTEC. Liz has actively collaborated with experts within the EPiC consortium to spearhead the development of a Collaborative CNA to LPN nursing program, along with the development of competency-based curriculum for certified nurse (CNA) and medication aides (MA-C). With a profound dedication to delivering top-tier educational experiences, Liz is committed to cultivating inclusive learning environments and promoting excellence, innovation, and quality in nursing education through collaboration. Additionally, Liz presently serves as a member on the Michigan Board of Nursing, representing nursing education within licensed practical nurse programs.

Jaida Boggerty

Jaida joined the team in September of 2023. She previously attended Kellogg Community College and earned a B.S in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from Western Michigan University. She is currently attending Michigan State University College of Human Medicine for her masters degree in Public Health. Jaida acts as the Communications and Marketing Specialist. She has a passion for helping the community through collaborative solutions and community outreach.

Matthew Blakeslee

Matthew joined MWTEC in August of 2023 to advise the collaborative on Information Technology matters, with the primary aim of helping to align existing technical systems with the goals of accessibility and opportunity that MWTEC champions. He holds an AAS in Cybersecurity from Washtenaw Community College, and a BS in Technology Management from Eastern Michigan University. He is continuing his education at EMU in pursuit of a master’s degree in Technology Management. Matthew is very excited to be contributing to talent development efforts in the state of Michigan and is proud to be collaborating with a wide range of partners.
EEG Clinical Coordinator
Maddie Spencer

Madelyne Spencer joined the EEG program in 2024 and currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator, where she plays a key role in student development, and clinical site coordination. She began her journey in neurodiagnostic by earning her associate’s degree through the EEG program before continuing her education at Siena Heights University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 2025.
With firsthand experience as a student in the program, Maddie brings a unique perspective to her role, understanding the challenges and opportunities students face as they progress through their training. She is committed to providing high-quality education that bridges the gap between classroom instruction and clinical application, ensuring students gain the skills necessary for a successful career in neurodiagnostic.
Director of Surgical Services & Surg Tech Program Director
Stephanie Allen

Stephanie is a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST), Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS), and Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) with 13 years of dedicated experience in the Operating Room environment. With a career spanning over 20 years in healthcare, Stephanie continues to actively practice in the Operating Room. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Surgical Technology, an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and Human Resources.
Stephanie has been immersed in higher education for the past decade, transitioning into program management over the last 3 years. She is recognized as a Fellow of the Association of Surgical Technology, acknowledging her commitment to advancing the field of Surgical Technology through education and innovation.
